P60

« Back to Glossary Index

A P60 is an annual statement from your employer summarising your total pay and the tax and National Insurance contributions you’ve paid in a given tax year. You’ll receive it at the end of each tax year if you’re employed. Keep it safe—you’ll need it for things like tax returns, mortgage applications, or claiming back overpaid tax.
